A method turned
into an app

Unbind evolved over a decade at Samyama Studio in Bengaluru, India, shaped by teachers and senior practitioners watching how real bodies learn, plateau, and grow. Your practice deepens as the teaching does; new asanas, new modifications, new teachers, added as the work matures.

We built the app knowing that what your body needs is strength. The strength and mobility work that gets your body into the asana, the prep most apps skip, is built into the same session.

  • Tried apps, didn’t stick

A practice that actually moves forward, not a library you scroll and quit.

  • Been practicing for years

Deep enough to keep challenging you. The hard postures are still ahead.

Your questions, answered

What makes Unbind different from other yoga apps?

Most yoga apps give you a library of classes and leave you to decide what to practice next. Unbind builds a practice around your goals, experience, mobility, strength, injuries, and schedule, then guides you through what comes next. Strength and mobility are integrated into your yoga practice as you progress, so everything develops together.

Do I need yoga experience or flexibility to start?

No. You don’t need any experience with Ashtanga Vinyasa—or yoga at all—and flexibility isn’t a requirement. If you’re new, Unbind starts at the beginning and gradually builds your understanding, strength, and mobility. If you’ve practiced before, it adapts to your current level.

Why does Unbind combine yoga and strength training?

Strength isn’t treated as a separate workout. It’s introduced alongside your yoga practice to support the movements you’re learning and prepare your body for what comes next. As your practice becomes more demanding, your strength develops with it.

Can I use Unbind if I have an injury or existing condition?

Unbind can adapt your practice around injuries or physical limitations, with modifications and alternative movements where appropriate. If your condition changes over time, your practice can change with it.

What happens if I miss a few days or weeks?

Life gets busy, and your practice should be able to adapt. When you come back, Unbind continues from where you are rather than expecting you to catch up or start over.

How does Unbind decide what I should practice?

You don’t have to plan your own sequence or decide what comes next. Unbind uses your goals, current ability, and progress to guide you through your next practice.

You can also choose how much time you have. Whether that’s 30 minutes or a full hour, your session is built around the time available.

What happens when I join the beta?

When you join the beta, you’ll start with a short 10–15 minute onboarding call so we can understand your experience, goals, schedule, and anything your practice needs to take into account.

From there, you’ll get access to Unbind and can begin practicing. During the beta, we’ll also check in with you regularly to see how things are going, answer questions, and use your feedback to improve the app.
